"A Dangerous Affair C8" 1/19/01 By: raq-UMALI umalific@hotmail.com Hi everyone… Here's the newest addition to the story! Enjoy! ********************************************************************** Darien closed the door firmly as they entered his dark chambers. Upon turning to see his maiden he watched uneasily as Serena quietly studied the room without a sound. Now being more at ease, Serena felt more comfortable then the past situations the room had brought. Only a few candles were lit and the orange glow of slowly dying fire was merely the only source of heat. Inhaling deeply Serena's senses were teased, the combining smell of fresh roses and Darien's sweet essence filtered through the room. Slightly Serena turned feeling his gaze upon her. Nothing was said between the two as they hungrily held their gaze. Unspoken but yet fully aware of how much the two had longed for one other. Afraid she would shy away, Darien slowly made his way towards the woman he had fallen love with. With heavy unsettled breath stuck in her throat, Serena watched with interest as Darien came closer, dark and alluring his shadows made his darkened being deliciously mysterious. Giving Serena a sense of thrill that was unknown to her till now. Face to face Darien brought his large hand to her beautiful features. Caressing each cheek then sauntering down to her lips, tracing her lips with his index finger. The short sweet encounter of their lips earlier registered in his mind. Feeling the fire burning to an endless ritualistic dance. Tempted to kiss them once more, he held himself back to wait for her move. "Darien…" she whispered huskily feeling tempting sweet shivers down her spine as he caressed her fondly. Closing her eyes she tried to focus and gain control of her self. She was at lost without him and now that he stood only inches away she was burning with racks of desire to hold him and to kiss him with all her might. "yes…" he whispered. Serena kept her stare as she searched for any deceptive glint in his eyes. None was shown only the purity of his love.. "I have missed you." She still whispered as if not wanting anyone to hear. "Serena…I have missed you as well" he said as he delicately took one of her hands bringing it up to his cheeks never breaking the connection between Serena and his eyes. Turning her wrist from outside in he brought her wrist to the side of his cheek, feeling the softness of the palm of her hands he closed his eyes. Relinquished the feeling of total content of having his Serena with him once again. Serena watched Darien make his subtle movements from, caressing her features to taking her hand to touch his cold cheek. She was deeply aroused and can strongly feel the same desire that racks his own body. Darien opened his eyes to find Serena's cerulean blues, her eyes spoke of many hindered emotions and knowledge of things he still has yet to understand. Slightly turning her hand, he softly placed a sugary kiss on her delicate wrist. Serena sighed as he released her hand, Darien took a few steps back surprising Serena breaking the venereal moment. "Darien…what's the matter?" she asked not moving from her original spot. Darien too sighed and roughly spoke. "Serena… why are you here?" "Darien…" she said taking steps forward to close the gap he made between them. So close face-to-face again Darien held his breath as she looked more immaculate than ever. "Serena…" he sighed heavily and turning away, unable to withstand the pull within his own body. "Darien…please….. its your turn to look at me" she said with a little sarcastic smile. "I promise I wont turn into anything surprising." she said sweetly. Darien chuckled a bit and did as he was asked. His face grew a bit brighter as he hovered above her. Still he held his hands beside him thinking that if he held her now, he would never let her go, weather she liked it or not. "Darien.. I need to tell you something" she whispered through her somewhat closed lids. Her focus and her attention was only to kissing his luscious lips. "about?" he asked a bit quietly watching her as his eyes would travel from her eyes then to her lips. "about…… a…. I….". Serena as she watched Darien focus on her lips. About a breath away from each other they waited contemplating who would make the move. Unable to control her hearts wishes Serena desperately made her move. "But firsts things first" she roughly breathed as Serena tip toed, lifting herself catching Darien's lusciously pouting lips. A little shocked but pleased he returned and deepened the kiss engulfing her within his arms. Serena brought her arms to wrap around his neck pulling him closer to her own body. Warmth, fire and an explosion demanding pleasures held the both of them unsteady. Holding and caressing her back smoothly he lost his senses and just about devoured Serena if he had not heard her slight moan. Lazily he pulled away but slow enough to not startle her. Her eyes opened to meet his and still all she wanted to do was be lost within his lips again. "Serena… maybe we should talk first before we get carried away" he murmured as he gently moved strays of hair away from her loving eyes. Serena nodded as she watched his eyes holding a fast to his rising need. Darien, as much as he wanted to speak to her, share with her everything his body and mind had been holding since their windup, could not. For the needfulness of touching her was more than he can bare. Commanding his body, slowly his hands moved to the ribbon that held her cloak. Untying the silk ribbons, the cloak fell freely down to the cold ground. His eyes slowly traveled from the floor where her cloak lay to her shapely curves then settling to her womanly mounds. If his eyes can radiated and strike fire, her dressed would of instantly burned. For his intense gaze was all to waving with much yearning. Serena smiled to Darien's hunger as she shook herself to reality that she still needed to speak to him. "Baby… I need to clarify things with you first" said Serena as she started to shiver suddenly feeling the crisp air hitting her bare shoulders. Darien concerned as he pulled her close to his body with one arm. "My darlings.. cold???" he breathed whisperingly. Serena nodded a bit as she stared at his concerned eyes. "We cant have that, now can we" he said as he snapped his fingers loudly. In an instant all the candles were lit and the died down ambers in the fireplace fell to a wholesome fierier blazed. "better?" he asked as he look down on his Serena. Serena a little startled turned and the room was lit to a full bloom. The colorful hues of orange and red wavered through the room. The roses were now seen and the room quickly warmed. Serena smiled as she returned to face Darien. "much" "Now, what is it that you need to speak to me about?" he asked as he motioned for her to move near the fire, Serena followed suit as he held her hand. Casually he sat on one of the chairs next to the fire. Not wanting to be away from her Darien pulled Serena down lightly on his lap. Innocently she placed her arms around the base of his neck ruffling the raven silk on his head. Darien closed his eyes as he felt her playfulness getting the better of him. "Serena honey please stop". "I'm sorry" she smiled. "Now tell me before I can't stand it any longer". Darien again instinctively started to trace her jawbone intimately. "I assume it's regarding your performance tonight" he grew a bit serious. Serena stared at him and nodded. "What was that all about?" "Darien…honey…" she said as she felt a bit uncomfortable sitting on his lap and trying to be serious at the same time. Carefully standing and lowering herself to kneel in front of him. Darien at first gave a little worried sigh as she stood, thinking that Serena was moving away…away from him but relief helped his body as she sat in front of him. Leaning over he graciously gestured towards Serena. "What is it love?". Serena was in great heavens as she felt Darien's hand touch her cheek once more. "what ever it is, it cannot be worse than what I had told you" he chuckled slightly. "Noo… definitely not bad at all compared to yours" she laughed lightly. Darien kept his wantings for this girl as she brightly began to show her true self, smiling and laughing. "then what is it?" "Well…." thought Serena thinking where to start, then the book occurred. "Darien have you ever read the book called 'MORTAL AFFAIR'" she asked as she watched his features a bit puzzled. "Yes I have, ..infact.." he thought as he closed his eyes looking to concentrate. Within a few minutes he stood and walked towards the door. Serena watched Darien wondering what he was doing then standing to go to the door. Darien opened the door just in time for Zen to appear with a book in hand. "Thank you Zen" said Darien as he closed the door once more. "You mean this book?" he asked as he returned to his original position on the chair. Serena took the book from his hands and noticed the insignia. A Wiccan insignia, her families insignia bore its cover. Quizimaticlly Serena was curious to how he was able to get the book. "Darien, where did you get this book?". Darien made a thoughtful face before looking at Serena. "While I was in Sicily.." "In Sicily? How long ago?" "Why?". Darien watched her features, her eyes shown interest and knew that their were reasons to all her questions. Nothing, Serena thought and remembered that he's practically immortal. "Honey, how old are you?" she asked with a grin. Darien's eyes said many but most of all he was amused to why the sudden need of questions about attaining this book. "Darien…" she grinned, he couldn't help it and ended up smiling as well. "100?" Darien nodded negatively "200". Serena watched Darien again "300…… am I even getting close" she asked. "If you keep going you will" he grinned. Serena thought for a moment as she watch Darien's amusement in all this. 'fine….' she thought as she closed her eyes. Darien observed Serena in a trance and was wondering what she was up too. He arched his brow when he found a smile that crept on her lips then her mouth parted as she opened her eyes wide. "You mean to tell me I've been seeing a 1200 year old bat" she said laughingly at his expression. "How did you know……?" he asked then his mind registered what she had just said "wait a minute a BAT?" he chuckled as he picked her up from the floor and setting her back down on his lap. "Who are you calling a bat?" he asked as he held a surprising idea. Serena laughed, she was just trying to lighten the mood. "YOU!". Serena tapped Darien's nose. Right away Darien assaulted her with fierce tickles to the side of her ribs. Serena's laughter rang and echoed through the stone walls as she convulsed in pits of laughter.. "I am not a bat… nor will I ever be.. I am a prince… Now say it…Prrrrinnce" he kept saying still tickling her. "No… no… your…a bat". "I don't think your getting it… Prince… Darrieenn". Stopping a bit as he watched her with a creased brow waiting for her response. "Prince Batty" she smiled. "I see you have not learned your lesson you impertinent little witch". Darien again kept Serena on his lap as she giggled merrily to his laughter-inducing touches. "THAT I AM…." she said loudly. Darien stopped as he heard clearly "THAT I AM" she said again. If Darien listened and put what had happened earlier he would of immediately known the truth in her words. Darien assaulted her once more before she pleaded for mercy. "Okay… mercy… please". Darien stopped immediately as Serena wisped away strands of fallen hair away from her face. "Now who am I and what am I not?" he asked as he waited for her response. Serena exhaled firmly, tired from assault. She smiled and put both of her hands on his handsome face. "You are..the one and only Prince Darien.." she stated a little sexily, causing Darien to growl a bit. "You are…..my…Prince" Serena whispered as she leaned over for a soft butterfly kiss on his lips. Darien was high from her words and even her soft chaste kiss was doing remarkable maneuvers to his body. Darien sighed heavily as he contemplated on kissing her, arousing himself to the max or speak to her first. "Serena… baby…. What is it that you need to speak to me about" he stroked gently as he caressed her arm. Serena rose from her comfortable position on his lap and again kneeled before him. Flaring her velvet dress around her she comfortable sat on her hind legs. "Darien, this book" she said as she held it up and caressed the emblem "This book is very important to two very significant people". Darien watched Serena as she studied the book. "Do you remember the story?". "I do. But what does this have to do with you?" "Tell me about it" she asked sweetly. "What?". Serena said nothing as she looked on to Darien. Darien didn't know at all to well where Serena was getting at and really had no clue to how this book would explain anything to tonight's activities. He settled back down to his chair and filtered his mind. Thinking hard for he read the story long time ago. In fact he read the book when he was only 500 years old. "Well… it's a romance story" "Uh huh…. " "A basic star crossed love..type". Darien narrowed his eyes as he tried to force himself to remember and understand why she wanted an explanation. "Yes… and how different where these lovers?". Darien thought about that question. "Well he was a Draculian Prince and she was a Wit…ch". Darien strayed his last word for his eyes went wide as he looked upon Serena "A witch that was mortal….." he whispered as he leaned forward. "Serena what are you saying?". Serena smiled a bit as she did not directly say yes to his question. "Serena are you saying you're a witch" "I think we need to refresh your memory a bit". Serena passed by several pages and stopped. Handing him the book she urged him to read. Darien for a few seconds observed Serena waiting for her to fully say something. Slowly he lifted his eyes away from Serena and read. *** (Book) – A prince was born years before, holding darkness in his side. Being draculian, his blood was cold and always ran amuck with all. His features as handsome as they any could be. Eyes of the deepest ocean blue and hair of the blackest night he was a charmer adding to everyone's sight. His name, Dalien. *** Serena kept her eyes to Darien as he skimmed through the paragraph and cracked a serious smile as he brought his head up. "Draculian…..handsome" whispering as she stood on her knees. "Eyes of deepest ocean blue" she gestured as she brought both of her hands to his face, caressing near his eyes "hair of the blackest night". Serena began to run her fingers through his hair "His name… Dalien". Darien stared at her with disbelief. "Other than how close this name is, who does little Dalien seem to look like?". Darien said nothing and for being cold blooded, he was starting to get chills down his spine as he listened to Serena. "Me…" he finally admitted as she nodded her head. Serena again brought the book back to him. "Read the second paragraph" *** (Book) - A princess was born into this world having a future set and challenged. Baring blond hair, blue eyes as her mother she lifted all's spirit to the heavenly highs… Kind, beautiful she grew up with grace and lived life to its fullest. A mere mare to the evil world she was graced with unconditional love for all that encounter the little 'witch'. Her name Selena. *** Darien stopped as he looked at her. From her face, deepening her eyes then to her hair. Serena said nothing for she knew it was all coming to him. "now read the first paragraph" *** (Book) Chapter 1…… Among mother natures children lived a beautiful and lovely maiden. Hair of the most golden sun and skin so fair she was a 'witch' to all. Encasing all that looked to her bewitching eyes. Clairvoyant and mysterious she knew of her future. Being chosen from many, the choice of the wonderful woman to was not difficult. She possessed all the loving maternal instinct and would vow by any means to keep her duty maternally. Her name was Celeste. **** Before Darien could lift his head up Serena spoke. "My mothers name is Celeste Marie Annesley" she whispered. Still Serena pressed on wanting him to remember. Taking the book she flipped then returned it to him "Read Darien" *** (Book) – A ball came underway to help many children. The very woman who turned of age walked among the others never to astray. Her eyes shine of the highest blue and her smile was of the brightest and true. Among the crowd was a handsome one, his eyes like steel and his intentions unclear. His eyes set on the maiden as his gazed hungrily. His mind swept her features from her flawless skin to her beautiful figure. 'My lady may I have this dance' said the hunter to his prey. Lost for words Selena took the handsome mans cool hands. Leading the way, Dalien and Selena was enraptured to their own moment. 'May I asked whom this beautiful enchantress may be?' he asked 'My name is Selena, may I ask to the handsome man that holds me in his arms his name?' 'My lady, My name is Dalien and it is an honor' as he slowly stopped their movements as he lovingly kissed the back of her hand. *** Darien read the passage then stopped to look at Serena. "Sound familiar?" she asked as she took the book and turned to another page. Read paragraph 4 all the way through she had instructed as she gave him back the book. *** (Book) – Wearing of a beautiful pink satin gown she prepped herself to her evening slumber. Letting her hair unwind to its natural tresses. Little did the beauty know that her lover sat amongst the shadows outside her balcony. Selena's movements and seductive motions had about drove the young Draculian Dalien to a frenzy. Watching her intently as she caressed her features from the sadden depths of her eyes to the pouty plumps of her lips. Moving down to her neck she released the robe that held her shoulders, revealing beautiful and flawless lacteal skin. At the base of her neck Selena touched her skin so softly as she thought 'Dalien would you… for eternity….for forever'. *** Darien read the paragraph but could not go on to the next. He returned his eyes on Serena asking for answers to his own questions. Serena said nothing, as she looked into his lost and confused eyes. "Just like this book says…. About Dalien and Selena. You were there at my balcony weren't you…" she whispered "you were watching me and heard my ultimate question… didn't you". Darien remained quite, his eyes searched for more as he regarded Serena's serious look. "Yes.. I was… FOREVER…." he answered. "But…how". Darien looked down on the book then back to Serena. "Go to the next pages". Darien again did what he was instructed to do and flipped the pages. To his surprise he found none, one page after another he flipped and found no other writings. Darien looked up and asked. "No ending????" "The book has no ending because Dalien and Selena's affair ended tragically right after the last of what you've read." "What?" he asked quite confused. Serena closed the book as she caressed the emblem. "Darien.. does this look familiar to you?" she asked holding the book for him to see. Darien looked at the emblem, a silver rose. His mind lingered in his past and still he could not recollect anything from his darkened past. He then recounted his new memories from his first comings to England, meeting Serena then he stopped. Darien's eyes traveled down from Serena's eyes to her neck. Leaning towards Serena he flipped her hair towards the back revealing Serena's neck. He focused on her neck as Serena said nothing. A glit of silver caught his eyes. The silver necklace hung lightly on her delicate neck, hanging was a pendant, a silver rose. Serena was silent as Darien's eyes moved from her face to her neck. She smiled as he touched the pendant. "What your mother gave you….". Serena nodded as she took Darien's hand with a light squeeze. Darien steadily took in what Serena was saying. "But…. How?……..You are mortal I sense it… I feel it… I have never been wrong about ones true being." "My blood has been thinned through mortal and wiccan paring. I have more mortal blood than wiccan.". After her response Darien felt a little tighten around his stomach as something occurred to him. "But Serena love, how do you know its me?" he asked "There are three Draculian Prince still roaming this earth, One has white hair but the other has black. How do you know its not the other black hared Prince..." he said almost afraid of her answer. "I would just condemn myself to death, knowing you are destined for another" he breathed. Serena knew then that his was an uneasy feeling to him, she knew that he would think this way. She too would rather die than to be with another. Without saying a word Serena closed her eyes. Lifting her palms up above her waist line she concentrated. She thought about Vixen. Vixen came to view, approaching vixen Serena's mind dug her way into the pouch. Darien watched Serena as she closed her eyes with her arms out stretched. Palms up, she seemed to be waiting for something. As if a ghost had entered and appeared the very same book with a different emblem, his. Darien's eyes grew large to what Serena had just done. he should not be that surprised for tonight she had done many incredible immortal things. "Darien do you recognize this symbol?" she asked as she held up the book. The Prince recognized his emblem, his sign his family ancestry. Tracing it with his hand he then looked at Serena. "This book Darien" said Serena as she lifted the book with her symbol on it "has found its way back to you as this book" she spoke as she lifted the book with his emblem "has found its way back to me" "What do you mean found its way back?" "Darien, when you were in Sicily, how did you acquire this book?" "What do you mean?" "Well surely this book didn't fancy your interest right away?". Darien thought for a moment, thinking and remembering how or why he bought the book. "Actually It did……. I was walking through the streets one evening and as I was passing by this mysterious goods and antique shop I had distinct feeling that I was to find something in there. I went in and looked around, saw many things then my eyes fell on this book." "SO you bought it? Why? Did you open it?" "No I didn't, I saw the cover and once I touched to emblem I felt a flow to purchasing the book. With out another thought I picked it up and bought it". "You see it was looking for you" she ended as she watched his features still searching for explanations. "Looking for me" "Just like you I felt compelled to walk into the mysterious shop and this book once I touched it gave me the very same feeling." "I'm sorry Serena but I'm not getting you… you say this book was looking for us, but why?" "Darien, this book looks to us for an ending" "An ending?" "Yes… have you noticed that every little detail and passage you have read, it is something that you and I have done and experienced ourselves. Thus after the last encounter their had been no more us." Darien nodded in agreement as he thought more carefully. "are you saying that the books wants us to finish what Dalien and Selena had started centuries ago?" "Their tragic affair ended with the last excerpt. You and I are basically living the same affair." "But Serena…. We cant live just to finish that book" "Darien, it is as much our life as it was Dalien and Selena's. The book does not want a tragic end.. If it did it would of recorded their end but it did not." Still not believing her she watched as he shifted trying to find a comfortable position to take all this in. "How do you know all this…. I mean who…what and…….." "The women that owned the bookstore I had gained this book from are now my sisters.. They are of my same blood. They had told me what the ancient books and ancient mythical scrolls had revealed. They explained to me details from this book we both have" she gestured as she looked at hers than to his. "and it too says in my history in my future" "Your history? You future? Serena what does that mean?" "After this book was explained that it was looking for me, the girls, my sisters had explained to me of my birthright." "Birthright?" "Of Wiccan blood?" "Yes… and they had brought out another book. My own Ancient Wiccan Heritage" Serena glanced at Darien as he had the most burrowing expression in his face. "What does this Wiccan Heritage book tell you?" "It was left by my mother to be passed on to me and just like our books it had long since been looking for me as well. The book possessed many secrets about my families ancestry from my great grandmother to my mother and myself. It explained detailed accounts of their experiences and troubles. It also states and reveals of our future mate" she slowly said as she concentrated on his actions. Darien remained quiet and said nothing, almost afraid to ask he was dying to know what it had revealed. "what does your book say?". Serena knew he was to ask, for she almost knew and was able to call his actions by now. "Chapter 28" she whispered almost just to amuse him "it reads – upon the 15th generation White Wiccan women, the tables for this maiden will turn and the half wiccan but mortal blood shall not marry a mortal for it is not in her future." "What is in your future Serena? What does the book say?" he asked more curious than ever. "The future of her would lie with a darkened prince lost in unknown love. Stirring at first a fiery affair and in extent would end a never ending story that had been waiting for over centuries time. The mortal affair has been bounded to both souls and increasingly waits for their unity" Serena memorized all she had said, for it was something she held of great importance. "Serena….I" "Darien………." She called waiting for his attention "we are to be as one". Darien remained quiet as he stared at Serena. Things needed to sink it deeply within his mind, believing them and needing to sort out what is real and what is not. As he stared and thought deeply about her, he couldn't quite help the matter that this woman, a lovely woman was here with him. Serena was everything he could imagine in any vampiress or any woman for that matter. She was beautiful, caring, intelligent, sensual, pure but cunningly sexy. Darien many times have encountered witches, dark ones or fallen ones they were evil and grotesquely ugly. But the beauty that Serena held was breathtakingly given. You would think a woman with her beauty would not carry herself well or arrogantly. But in fact it was the opposite. Serena had never given herself as arrogant. Always feeling petite over everyone else and just fair she was wrong. Her self assurance where education was concerned warded many men. For they lack to ever be able to converse with such high maintenance topics but that never intimidated Darien at all. Serena's strong willed attributes enticed him even more. Pure and as wholesome as a young babe she still had a way of moving her way to provocative motions. Unknowing to her how she would and make many men linger their minds of imagining her for themselves. Her sensual and erotic demure would send erotic shivers down many men, Darien had many times have felt and heard the minds of those that come in contact with Serena and usually he always tried to take them lightly, by gripping her more towards his body, warning all of them of any futile pursuance of her. His mind many times wanted to rip them to shreds for looking at her that way but only grinned as he thought that she was his and only his for the taken and no one, not mortal not vampire not beast would counter that argument. Darien was all smiles as he kept his eyes in contact with Serena, all this time she had said nothing. Letting all that he had just been told to fully soak in. She was happy to say the least that he was accepting all this and not make her seem like a fool to believe such things. Serena smiled larger and brighter, brighter than the fire that was blazing near them. As the two inched closer, a sudden jolt of guilt and his unnatural mind placed a question on his shoulders. 'what if she is only with you to end the story or do as what has been written? What if she has no interest in you what so ever and just taken a fancy on the book' It dawned on him. 'The book' Serena immediately saw the worries and question on his face as she came near. "Darien????" She asked as he again leaned back for support. Lightly taking his hands she urged him to speak of his worries. When he had said nothing she was now a little worried herself. "Darien please…. Don't leave me out in the dark!" He raised his fallen eyes to Serena and almost afraid to bring out what he thought might be the truth in her return. "Serena……………" he sighed with deep meaning "I need to know something". Serena nodded and smiled as she still held Darien's hand. Squeezing it lightly she gave him the go ahead. "Do you return here to finish and to fulfill your destiny or is it of something else?". Serena at first did not know what he was trying to say, until she found his uneasy baring eyes. Taking both hands now she held them firmly as she now will confess all her might to him. "Darien…….I came here for us….. " she said firmly, not wanting him to interrupt. His eyes were a little glaze to what he was hearing but still his mind still played him and he needed more assurance "Though I was hesitant at first 'BUT' I knew eventually I would of found my way back to you. Darien…. I couldn't stand being away from you. Lonely and depress, I cried many days to want to reunite with you. I just didn't know how….. I was contemplating if I would die of a heartbreak from a doomed relationship BUT I missed you with all my heart" said Serena as she began to cry. Darien's eyes for the first time wanted to water, though nothing had come up. He didn't like seeing her this way and he almost hated himself for asking the questions that's making her so emotionally raw. "I missed you so…so much that I was literally going insane. BUT baby" said Serena as she held his hands to cup her face. "that night when you had listened in on my thoughts as I had prepped for bed. That night when you had thrown your powers onto me allowing me to have rest. what did I ask? What was my question?" she asked him trying to hear his view on all this too as he brought his hands back down to her. "You asked if I would…" "Would what Darien?" she pleaded wanting to her his own translation of the question. "You had asked silently if I would take you eternally" he said without hesitation. Serena said nothing at first. "Yes… I did. And back then I didn't know of my ancestry or this book" she firmly stated "Doomed or not…..all I wanted and know was that I needed you and that I love you" Darien felt love swarm his being. "Darien….." she leaned more towards him "I would ask you again, I would have you take me without a mere doubt….Just to be eternally with you.. I would!" she said softly. "OH.. SERENA…….." he cryingly stated as he engulfed her within his arms. He kissed her forehead and murmured sweet lovely things to her ears as he too love this woman. "I love you too baby… I love you too….. I cannot even began to tell you how much my life is been empty with out you. I love you Serena…. Always, from the moment we met till our end, I will love you eternally" Lifting Serena up to sit back on his lap. Serena look at him with her watery eyes as she felt a sudden calm a wave of satisfied truths. "Baby…. The book didn't ask me to love you…. It had just mentioned of our unity. You and I found each other well before the books came to play within our lives" she said as he pulled her close to plant a sweet kiss on her forehead once more then as his the both held to each others eyes as they leaned closer. "mortal……wiccan…or draculian….. we belong together… Darien…. we are one" she whispered as she stared lovingly at her mate.
