It seems to be my little theme for Chapter 4. Well, let's just dig a little deeper into Russell, and what about Amy. She seems to admire him. What does she think of him now that she knows he's Tuxedo Inferno. Let's just read and see, shall we? Here's my usual... ...Disclaimer: Sailor Moon and most of the characters ain't mine. They belong to Naoko Takeuchi, and I thank that woman for creating such great entertainment for all of us with a lot of free time on our hands to enjoy. The English dub belongs to DiC Entertainment, and I thank them for bringing' it to America, even though they lost the rights. Finally the S season's in America, it's a darn good series, I tell 'ya. Anyways, Russell Hino, Hino Kyodai, Tuxedo Inferno, and all his other identities are MINE (in a deep, dark, growling voice). Titanius is also mine. Well, y'all enjoy this fanfic and e-mail me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Children of Fire By Viper Inferno Epilogue Russell gazes into his princess' eyes, glistening like the pond in the Earth's light. He can't help but to succumb to her beauty. He can't hold back his surprise any longer. The time to unveil his surprise gets no better than this. He reaches into his suit, but leaves it there as he backs up from her and dwells on the glistening blue eyes and the ocean blue hair flowing in the breeze. "Your beauty reminds me of the enchanting oceans of Earth," he complements, "I've heard from Tuxedo Mask about the legendary mermaids. Half-woman, half-fish, just the mere sight of these goddesses of the sea captures the hearts of travelling sailors. The glitter in your sparkling eyes is like the ocean glistening in the moonlight, and your hair is like the gentle sea breeze, guiding the sailors across the vast beauty of the ocean. Like the ocean, my princess, you are so full of life, I just can't help but to fall deeper in love with you. The serene ocean within you has tamed the raging inferno burning inside of me. I know now that you are the perfect one." He pulls his hand out of his suit, revealing the ring box. He grabs it with both hands. "I have searched for something that truly represents you, something that brings out the features of the ocean, and of your divine beauty," he says as he opens the ring box. She looks on, her eyes shimmering in complete awe as she looks at an elegant ring made from white gold with an ice blue crystal in the shape of a pair of dolphins. Like Russell said, it truly captures the beauty of the ocean. "Oh, Russell," she gasps, "It's absolutely enchanting. It's perfect." Russell kneels down on one knee, while taking her right hand with his left. "My dear, sweet princess, will you marry me?" Tears roll down her delicate cheeks as she pulls Russell up and gives him tight embrace, crying into his shoulder. Russell returns her embrace, wondering why she's crying after he had proposed to her. "What's wrong?" he asks. She lets up from Russell, with tears still rolling down her cheeks. "I'm fine, I've just never been so happy in my life," she whimpers, then gasps as she tries to hold back her sobs, "Of course I'll marry you." Russell removes the ring from its box and gently slips it onto Amy's fragile finger. They then embrace again, knowing that they'll be together for eternity, but eternity doesn't seem to be long enough... Just as they are about to kiss, a shrill noise breaks the tranquility of the night. Russell then wakes up to hear his alarm clock going off. He hits the snooze button and takes a look at the time. "7:24, but I set it for 9:00 since there's still no school," he says to himself. He plops back down on his pillow as thoughts of his recent dream flow through his mind. "Who is that princess?" he asks himself, "Why doesn't Luna remember her?" Russell forgets about trying to figure it all out and gets up to walk over to his wardrobe. He looks inside to see what's available to wear, but is irrelevant since he'll be wearing his leather bomber jacket. "Think I'll wear white over blue jeans," he says to himself as he grabs his desired clothing. Thoughts of that princess continue to run through his mind, then he thinks about Sailor Mercury and how she ties in to the Silver Millennium. "Sailor Mercury must've been one of the Moon Princess' royal scouts," he says to himself. After he gets his clothes and his jacket on, thoughts of Amy begin roaming through his head. "But Amy, I wonder what she thinks of me now that she knows I'm Tuxedo Inferno," he says to himself. He walks out of his room and walks by Raye's room. He stops by the door and takes a peek through the cracked door, only to see that she's still asleep. Russell then proceeds toward the front door and out of the temple. "Sailor Mercury is my favorite scout," he thinks aloud, "She's smart, strategic, yet the more modest of the Scouts. Her attacks may be the weaker of the bunch, but her intelligence more than makes up for it. It's great to be fighting side-by-side with her." He makes it to his car and hops inside, a little more easily since there's no ice to scrap off. "And Amy; now I know why Sailor Mercury's her favorite. She IS Sailor Mercury. She's intelligent, just like Mercury, strategic, just like Mercury, and a good friend to my sister and very trusting, just like Mercury even when I was under Negaverse control," he thinks aloud, again, "But unlike Mercury, she's got this silence to her. To think, the very girl I like is my favorite Sailor Scout." He begins driving toward some undetermined destination. "She's got those eyes, that short blue hair that seems to wave in the wind despite its length, and this delicate face. Yet I wonder, if I was the Prince of Mars, then that must make Raye the Princess of Mars. I don't know if she was the only princess of the Scouts, but I also wonder if perhaps Amy, Sailor Mercury, and that princess in my dreams are the same girl." He looks at the storefronts and snow-covered streets and sidewalks as he drives along. He then sees a picture of the Sailor Scouts on the side of a bus stop as thoughts come to his head. "Now that I think about it, Amy does look good in that blue Sailor Suit. It blends with the color in her eyes and hair." He then remembers how she looked as she studied at the café, how even the cold snowy environment didn't distract her from her studies, and how she smiled at him when their eyes met. "I had feelings for Amy even before I ended up observing for her Physics class, and even when I was under Negaverse control. Now that I know she's Sailor Mercury, my favorite Sailor Scout, it just makes me fall deeper in love with her." Russell drives off through Tokyo, as he makes since of his feelings for Amy. Park... Amy sits on a bench, in a white snow-jacket, white scarf, earmuffs, and gloves. She watches the frozen lake as the sun's rays beat down on it, bringing out a fiery glimmer that brings a thought to her mind. She immediately thinks about Russell. "Russell is Tuxedo Inferno. He must've really cared about me when he tried to get me out of that embassy before attacking. The thought of me getting hurt must've been too much for him," she thinks aloud. "Russell, the prince of Mars and sister of Princess Raye. And he fights as Tuxedo Inferno. I wonder why Luna didn't remember him sooner. I mean, we doubted him, fought him, and even lost to him," she thinks aloud. "The thought of the Russell being the Prince of Mars, just brings out more in him. How the fire burns in his eyes. Somehow, I remember sayin' something about fire in somebody's eyes in the Silver Millennium. Someone also told me about my eyes and hair being like the ocean." She then goes back to thinkin' of Russell, "But Russell, something about him really fascinates me. He's dedicated to his work, he was class Salutatorian, Japanese Scholar, and even a star soccer player. He's not only a genius, he an athletic genius, a scholar athlete. And he wields the power of fire as Tuxedo Inferno." She then thinks of her feelings, "I think I'm even deeper in love with him, now. Tuxedo Inferno is a great warrior, and I barely doubted him. Serena and I were the only ones who saw good in him when the Negaverse had control of him. It's odd, really. I never had these kind of feelings for Greg. Never. It must be true love I feel towards Russell, and he being Tuxedo Inferno just strengthens that feeling." Amy gets up from the bench and walks the trail alongside the lake, watching as the sun's reflection off the ice continues to bring thoughts of Russell and Tuxedo Inferno to mind. ------------------------------end of epilogue-------------------------- Well, the foundation for a romance is set. Both Russell and Amy have feelings for each other, and stronger ones now that they know the other is. Do keep in mind that they were thinkin aloud mostly. Well, this ends Children of Fire, and the Warrior of Fire Anthology. Actually, the conclusion was in Chapter 4. This is more of an afterward, highlighting Russell and Amy. I'ma start on my next project, a highly requested romance. Y'all will see it when it comes. I tell you, much will be revealed in it. E-mail me with comments, a'ight?
