Standard disclaimers apply. Most of these characters belong to Naoko Takeuchi, and I'm just borrowing them for a while. Before we get to the story, there's just a little something I want to say. I'd originally planned out a nice, kinda romantic ending to this, but I decided to change it to this story instead. The date in here is totally made up, since I absolutely have *no* idea how time actually works in the anime. Sorry. I also have to do something that I forgot to do at the beginning. *slaps self* I really want to thank all those GREAT writers out there who have given us readers such beautiful stories. May they be blessed with happy lives and continued inspiration! Hehe. . . Anyways, on with the story. . . HEARTS OF DARKNESS EPILOGUE by Judson Chan Sunday, March 7 Dear Diary, It's been a long time since I wrote, but this week was so, well, totally FREAKY that I have to get this down. I'm still not sure I believe everything that happened, but. . . It all started on Tuesday after school. I was walking home with Usagi and teasing her when this totally *scary* monster came running after us! I mean, talk about bad luck! Do I have a monster magnet or something? *sigh* But it was what happened after that was REALLY surprising. Usagi and I had run into this dead end, and the monster was still after us, and then Usagi turned into SAILOR MOON!! I mean, no way! I still have trouble believing it. But still, it does explain how Sailor Moon was always there to save me. And the meatballs are the same, too. And it turns out that this guy Mamoru that Usagi was interested in was actually Tuxedo Kamen! That girl's sure lucky, he's so handsome! *giggles* I guess I'll have to stick with Umino, though. . .not that I mind, really. He can be so sweet when he wants to. But there's no way I'm EVER telling him about this! Usagi'd kill me for sure! And besides, I gave her my word I'd keep this secret. And I REALLY mean it, too. So where was I? Anyway, there was a whole lot of monster attacks this morning, and guess who just *happened* to be attacked? Yep, again! *sigh* What did I ever do to deserve this? Well, I was expecting Sailor Moon to come save me again, but instead, it was Ami's boyfriend Ryo and some other guy who did. Save me, I mean. Come to think of it, Ami never really admitted that he's her boyfriend. That girl's hopeless. . . As if I hadn't had enough shocks for one lifetime, Luna and this other cat came up to us and *talked*! This is getting weirder and weirder by the minute. Anyway, I followed along (at a safe distance, of course) while the boys rescued more people. Then, at about noon, the monsters just disappeared suddenly. I'd stopped wondering about things by then. What's the point? Maybe I'll just get Usagi to explain everything later. . . After looking around a bit more, Luna said we'd better go back to the temple and wait. I followed along, and Ryo explained a bit of what's been happening. He said that the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Kamen had gone to fight the enemy, and that since the monsters disappeared, they'd probably won. I was REALLY relieved to hear that, believe me! No more monsters! Woohoo! It was right after we got to the temple that the others all came back. I was gonna congratulate Usagi when Luna started hissing at the two guys who were with her. I had a feeling I'd seen the blond one before, but I can't quite remember. . . The other guy was wearing armor, and he looked, well, kinda *cold*. Not bad or anything, just. . .well, forbidding, I guess. O_o I can't believe I used that word! *giggles* Anyway, they had this really big fight. I couldn't understand much, but I think they were arguing about whether they should trust those two guys. Usagi, Mamoru, Minako and Rei were saying that they should, but Luna said no, and the others just watched. After a while, Luna sorta backed down about Jadeite (the blond guy), but she still wouldn't trust Athan (the one in armor). What kinda name is that, anyway? So everything ended in a big stalemate. Even after Athan did this really scary dark rune thing that wiped out half his powers, Luna still wouldn't give. At the end, Usagi told the two guys to stay and just avoid the 'old windbag'. Man, you should have *seen* Luna's face! It's like she wanted to actually attack Usagi or something. She almost did exactly that when Usagi turned around and stuck her tongue out at her. Mako had to grab her before anything happened. Anyway, the 'meeting' broke up after that, and everyone went home. I really hope nothing bad comes out of this, and that Usagi and her friends can make up. But I don't know. Maybe I should just avoid the whole thing and pretend nothing happened. I tell ya, life sure gets complicated when a bunch of your friends turn out to be superheroes! *sigh* So, that's it for this absolutely crazy week! I sure hope this is end of all the monsters. . .and if it isn't, then I'll settle for them NOT coming after me. Now, on to homework. . . The End AUTHOR'S NOTES: Well, there you have it. The style of this story was inspired by, but not nearly as good as, Lady Guinevere's 'Ami's Diary' series. You should read it, if you haven't already. I'll be back with another series, hopefully a better one, and hopefully within a few weeks. No guarantee, though. Comments can be sent to h_chan@sympatico.ca. Seeya!
