This is a poem I wrote "by accident" in English class. We weren't suppose to write about death, and I ended up doing that. But I liked it so much I wrote more on it, and it turned into a Sailor Saturn poem! Hope you like. (I know, it sounds like a Pluto poem, but it's a Saturn poem.) Time is Standing Still By: Masked Maiden maskedmaiden@bishoujosenshi.com The gates of time are closed The world has stopped spinning. Time is standing still. And she stands. Crows sing a mournful tune The bare trees stand in misery as death reeks from their branches. The wind becomes silent. A red mound of obstacles; fatal obstacles grows in the heart of her world. The power growing and growing. Given a power both unique and perplexed, She stands in front of it; aware of her powers and herself, and the outcome of both sides. She stands where no one dares to stand Where no one dares to tread She treads, with scythe and mind at hand, looking in the eyes of Death. What power Could she possess That can save the world In one effort?
